Walter O. Ogwal has an extensive background in banking, private equity and impact investments in Eastern Africa where he grew in senior management and executive level roles – having worked with GroFin (as Regional Investment Director for East Africa), Standard Chartered Bank and DFCU Bank amongst others.

He has served on the boards of regulated entities across insurance, banking and finance sectors and continues to provide consultancy services on various initiatives in areas of finance, corporate governance and private sector development.

Walter holds an MBA (Finance), CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA, UK) and is an Accredited Business Consultant™ (ASMEC) by The Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants® (AASBC®), Austin, Texas (USA).
